Hey everyone! I wanted to go ahead and write up a post for the smoothies I am making for weight loss. These can be eaten as a snack, breakfast or meal replacement! They are full of fiber, and good fats.
The first recipe is a plain ol green smoothie, and I got it from a pinterest board on build your own green smoothie. I’ll include it below
So in my video, I used
♥ 2 cups of spinach
♥ 1 cup of pineapple
♥1 banana
♥ 1 cup of vanilla almond milk
The 2nd recipe is a blueberry(green) smoothie
♥2/3 cup of Greek yogurt
♥2/3 cup of blueberries
♥2 large strawberries(or 5)
♥1 cup of spinach leaves
♥1/2 cup of almond milk
♥1 tablespoon of honey(or blue agave)
I found the blueberry green smoothie from a site called alaskafromscratch. In this video you will see me prep my smoothies in freezer bags, for easy access when I am ready to drink.
I also got some ground flaxseed to add to my smoothie for added benefits. You can purchase some flaxseed similar to what I have here
